The 18-900L drill press is a high-quality machine. The most notable features for me are:
- solid feel during heavy drilling operations, quiet for it's power and size
- large table that moves up and down easily, also pivots and tilts easily
- LED working light is extra bright for my old eyes - love this feature
- easily assembled with two people - took me about 40 minutes
- 6" throw handles any depth for drilling I have
- .002" TIR at max depth for spindle - excellent manufacturing tolerances
- fit and finish surprised me - this is a very good quality drill press
- with a 5-year warranty, they must have a durable product to stay in business
