Download Adobe AcrobatIn 4th grade, I did my first wood working project. In the classroom was a big ole Rockwell cabinet saw. One day I said to myself, I'm going to own one of these beasts. Until last month, no saw could hold a candle to that Rockwell saw. When I saw the new Unisaw design, I knew I found the table saw for me. I was able to pick this saw up at the transfer station and get it with no problem. I was able to get it down into the basement with the help of a friend and a large appliance dolly. Assembly was fairly easy, except for the installation of the wings. There's no good single design that works for this. I wish Delta would consider an optional single piece table. Regardless of weight - I'd get that. Some goof-off, a couple of rounds of rubbing compound and auto wax and the table is a smooth as can be. I've been making new kitchen cabinets for the past month and have been very satisified with this tool. Glad to see Delta put their very best on this one.

I recently purchased this saw and carefully set it up over a few days then made my first cut. I was impressed that Delta had installed a carbide tipped blade which created an extremely smooth cut on plywood. I'll write more later as I begin making a few things with this beauty.
